What Dusk Band does when the data is longer, shorter or emptier than the sample:

Fixed page furniture Never grows, never moves

the graded header band carrying the wordmark, the title and the docket line (fixed height — nothing in it may grow); the foot line under the closing band

Repeats per record One block per row of your data

line items (table rows; the head repeats on page break)

Grows with your data Absorbs long values without breaking

the two party blocks either side of the axis; item descriptions; the closing note

Pinned to every page Holds position across page breaks

the header band sits at the page top and the foot line at the page bottom on every page

Order on the page What sits after what

the party pair after the band; the table after the pair; the closing band after the table; the note after the band

Page breaks What may split, what must not

the table may split across pages; the closing band must not

Last page How the document ends

the closing band and the note may occupy the final page alone; the header band and foot line carry it
